Homework club will meet in room 626 Monday.

Attention anyone interested in trying out for the basketball team.  Tryouts will start November 30th.  Boys will tryout from 2:30-4:00pm and girls will tryout from 4:00-6:00pm.  You must have a completed physical packet on file with the office in order to tryout. Tryouts are closed to parents. If you have any questions, please see Coach Oberg.

Tuesday is the last day for the Reading Rocks program. See Mrs. Baca to redeem your prizes and turn in your completed cards. Remember- completed cards will be entered into a drawing to be invited to the exclusive to the Wii Rock Band party and to win several prizes from 98.5 KLUC.

Next Thursday and Friday we will have our Barnes and Noble bookfair from 6 to 8pm. Come shop and listen to our fabulous orchestra play while supporting our school. Fliers will be sent home on Tuesday.

Congratulations to the following championship teams and players:  Mountain West Championship’s winning team: BYU Cougars participants are:  Jesse Vogel, Marquis James, Red Gatan, Brenton hall and the league MVP:  Jesse Vogel.  The Big Ten Conference Championships winning team was the Indiana Hoosiers and team players were:  Jake Hutchings, Roy Sparks, Pablo Gatti, Carlos Flores, Marcus Mercer, Cordell Tidwell, Malik Scott and the leagues MVP:  Roy Sparks.  And for Pac 10 Conference Championship winning team was: Oregon Ducks with players: Eddie Davis, Gerard Harden, Monlef Hargrove, Darien Bradley, Davaril Swanson and Chris Heron with the leagues MVP:  Darrell Swanson.

The Twilight Club is hosting a New Moon movie release party today after school in the library. There will be games, activities, and a raffle for New Moon merchandise! Pick up your FREE ticket from Mrs. Baca in the Library.
